Rowan’s annual Christmas Fair

Cambridge based arts charity Rowan is getting ready for their annual Christmas Fair, which will include a special performance from the Cambridge Gospel Choir.


Rowan’s Christmas Fair will take place on Wednesday 6 December, 5pm to 8pm, and everyone is welcome. The aim is to raise money for the charity, which provides art workshops and a forest school for adults with learning disabilities.


Visitors to the fair will enjoy a performance from the Cambridge Gospel Choir, refreshments, including mulled wine and mince pies will be on offer. You can also enter in their Christmas raffle with some fantastic prizes including a cheese and wine tasting hamper from Cambridge Cheese Company, a Coffee Lovers hamper from Stir Cambridge, a Christmas hamper from Cambridge Hamper Company and a Amazon Alexa speaker!



The fair features Rowan’s shop for visitors to browse and purchase goods that have been handmade in collaboration Rowan’s student artists. Many items are already available to buy online at www.rowanhumberstone.org.uk.


“Christmas starts early at Rowan as we start to prepare unique gifts, cards, wrapping paper, gift tags and more with our student artists in our workshops” says Chief Executive Officer Cherie Evans. “From ceramics to woodwork, from textiles to print and mixed media, we have a little something suited for all. The Christmas Fair is a wonderful event each year when we invite the public, friends, and family to visit the building to see the vital work taking place for our community.”
